The article is devoted to problems of creating a software tool environment for the conduct of a geometric experiment. Readers ' attention is noticed to the fact that the main goal of geometry is to specify correspondences between geometric objects. The role of mental and physical geometric experiments, which application is for the information support of scientific, educational and practical activities of the person, associated with the solution of the geometrically caused problems, is shown. The requirements and features of software tool, designed for geometric experiment are declared.
