DEALING WITH SPACIAL AWARENESS DIFFERENCES BETWEEN STUDENTS TAKING A 3D CHARACTER MODELLING COURSE

Аbstract
The classic approach to teaching 3d character modelling in the university environment presents a number of stumbling points due to inherent differences in spatial awareness between students. We propose a series of exercises to partially alleviate that problem by encouraging students to research placement of edge loops on additional 2d projections of their character concept, as well as investigate the limits of this approach.
