Аbstract

The authors examined the legacy of the French scientist Joseph Louis Lagrange, considering that some of its mathematical provisions more underserved found application in applied sciences. Teaching Descriptive Geometry today is directly dependent on the correct interpretation of the historical foundations, known today as the School of Lagrange.
