Graphic competencies are important for the future professional activity of the graduate. Drawing - the international language of the engineer. High-quality training of graphics disci-plines is actual problem during many decades. Working with flat images of objects requires the development of spatial thinking. The article discusses the structure of the learning process of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics students of technical university.
