The article is devoted to the discussion of issues related to the relevance of teaching the course "descriptive geometry" in a very low geometric and graphic training of high school graduates on the one hand and reducing the time for traditional forms of teaching (lectures and workshops) on the other. The article analyzes the possibility of using 2D and 3D computer technologies to accelerate and improve the training of graduates of engineering Universities.
